How to Report Stolen Content to Google

First Method to Remove Copied Content From Google Search

First you need to check the content via tool Duplicate Content Detection Software and collect the report. The next step would be to file a report via DMCA Takedown Notice Search Tool which will remove the content from Google using the tool Have you found webspam? (If the dates are valid one i.e your content is old rather than your competitors).

Also, now you need to visit the website WHOIS Search, Domain Name, Website, and IP Tools or Whois Lookup & IP and paste the domain name in it. Copy the contact mail address of the owner and find the hosting via Home .

Next you need to drop a mail along with the report (the one which generated before) to the mail address abuse@hostingcompanyname. They’ll Open the DMCA warning to the site owner and he/she needs to take an action on that report. If they failed to do so, then site may get permanently shut down.

After removing the content, abuse team will reply back and this will help to get your content delete from everywhere.

Second Method to Report Stolen Content to Google:

You can file a DMCA request with Google to remove pages that are stealing your content. DMCA stands for Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law.

Filing a DMCA Request :-

-> Login to Google Account.

-> Go to Google Copyright Removal page.

-> Fill in the necessary information, which includes an excerpt of the duplicated content, the page that your original content appears on, and the page where the stolen content appears.

-> You then have to swear that you’re telling the truth — this is a legal statement.

-> You will get an automated response from Google when you fill in the form, but they will not inform you about the status of request — whether they removed the infringing content or not.

-> The only way to check is to keep an eye on the search engine rankings for that content until it is eliminated by Google.
